The Willie Ross Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 Corporation, exists today because of the kindness and support of others. Without this support the we could not continue and offer the programs available to so many individuals.
Never have our resources been so compromised: funding cutbacks (totaling 8.2% in 2011 and over 8% in 2012 - and even greater cuts expected this year) will seriously impact the Foundation. Cuts in the area of the developmentally disabled are specifically expected.
At the same time, the Foundation is positioned for remarkable growth. The Day Care Program has moved to a new location with 9,000 sq ft area that allows a wider range of programs and the ability to serve an additional 30 clients for a total of 80 individuals.
